As of this writing, we recommend using the Ad Blocker uBlock Origin by Raymond Hill. This ad blocker will attempt to block all advertisements and tracking scripts without the slowness that other ad blockers causes. uBlock Origin is available on Windows, Mac and Linux, available for Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, and even Microsoft Edge web browsers. Microsoft Edge Note: The Microsoft Edge version of uBlock Origin, in our last round of testing (Fall 2015), the extension made Edge more unstable in everyday usage. However, the testing was after the introduction of extension functionality to Microsoft Edge. According to the current reviews, this may have only be a problem during our testing period – your experience may be different.
