Increase in Online Payment Fees (PayPal)

QUINCY, ILLINOIS – August 1, 2021: Mad Scientist Technologies is announcing a change to our online payment fee, effective August 2, 2021. The fee for online payments will be increasing to 3.49% + $0.49 per transaction, up from the previous rate of 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction.

This change is necessary due to updates from our payment provider, PayPal. As a business, we rely on PayPal to process online payments securely and efficiently. However, PayPal has recently adjusted their fees, which has necessitated an adjustment in our own fees to account for this change.

Despite this increase, Mad Scientist Technologies remains committed to providing exceptional service and value to our customers. We understand that convenience and security are important factors in online transactions, and we will continue to work with PayPal to ensure a seamless payment experience for our customers.
