Frontend Web Portal

Preparing the site’s information architecture for transition to version 2.0 of the site. Pages and links maybe moved, renamed, and/or deleted during this process. This process should be finished as we approach the 2.0 launch date. We would like to thank you for your patience during this time of change.

Description: Update the site user interface to be more standards compliant, semantic, visually interesting, and improve the display of information to potential clients (ROI).

RESOLVED: Poorly Styled Print Stylesheet

  • Category: Style/Design
  • Description: The print stylesheet produces poorly formated documents that are hard to read.
  • Status: Confirmed, Fix Pending
  • Site Version: 1.3.3
  • Priority: Normal
  • Browsers: All (Especially IE8)

Cause of Problem: The CSS Reset Cascaded too far and removed most of the default styling provided by the browser.

Solution: Adjusted CSS Reset and refined Print Styles.

CLOSED: Discussion Forums
Issue Closed on January 2012

Cause of Problem: The service was not being utilized and the service suffered from registration spam.
Solution: The service has been discontinued.

CLOSED: Support Ticket System
Issue Closed on April 2011

Cause of Problem: The service was not being used, also the service would produce several emails during the course of a tickets life for each client.
Solution: The service has been discontinued until a suitable replacement can be found.

CLOSED: Online Appointment Scheduler

Cause of Problem: Feature was never finished due to lack of resources.
Solution: The feature has been discontinued.

CLOSED: Web to Phone Service (Google Voice Function)

  • Description: The Google Voice Function of the Phone Support is yet to be implemented
  • Status: Confirmed
  • Site Version: 0.9 – 1.x cur
  • Priority: Low

Cause of Problem: Concerns about spam and abuse of the feature.
Solution: The feature has been discontinued.

CLOSED: Online Chat Service
Issue Closed on November 2010

Cause of Problem: The service was not being used during past twelve month period.
Solution: The service has been discontinued.

RESOLVED: Auto Updating Chat Icon
Problem resolved on March 20, 2010

  • Category: Functional
  • Description: The support icon for the Online Chat Service will not update to reflect if an operator is available
  • Status: Confirmed – Resolved
  • Site Version: 0.9 cur
  • Priority: Normal-High

Cause of Problem: The status icon that notifies users is dynamically generated by the chat system while the support icons are based on an CSS class that is applied to links
Solution: Inserted chat system image inside the link for the Live Chat with added custom CSS properties

RESOLVED: Slider in Opera
Problem resolved on March 10, 2010

  • Date Found: 06-Mar-2010
  • Category: Presentational
  • Description: Slider on home page only displays last slide in Opera 10.5 and lower
  • Status: Confirmed – Researching Solution
  • Site Version: 0.9 cur
  • Priority: Normal-Low::Due to Opera’s low market share – Sorry

Cause of Problem: Wrapper ul list’s width was too high for Opera.
Solution: Change CSS: .anythingSlider .wrapper ul {width: from 99999px to 9999px;}
